How a run unfolds

You open the game on the pre-bet screen. Set the stake and choose Easy or Hard here. The screen shows the maximum multiplier for each mode: x2031.63 on Easy and x54515.98 on Hard, as read on 17 September 2026.

Start the round and pick path A or B. Each cleared step raises the multiplier and adds one to the counter of 30 opponents. On Easy the first steps we observed paid x1.04, x1.13, x1.24, x1.36 and x1.49. Press Withdraw, which is live from the first step, and you keep the multiplier on screen.

After the thirtieth opponent you meet the boss. Most sessions never get that far.

The game has no reels and no separate bonus round. You make the same decision at every step, at your own pace.

Why this format suits a small screen

A reel game asks you to press once and watch. This one asks you to tap a path, watch a short animation, and then decide again, with large tap targets throughout.

It plays one-handed and standing up, in short gaps. The same convenience can turn five minutes into forty.

Path A or path B

You pick an attack path at every step, A or B, and the agent moves.

Use your first rounds to learn your own limit. Keep the stake and the risk mode the same and look for the step where you start to feel reluctant. To find that step, play a few rounds on your phone.

Then keep to that stopping step for a while before changing it.

The cash-out decision

Withdraw is live from the first step, and it is worth practising.

The step you just survived makes the next one feel safer, because nothing has gone wrong yet. A smooth run so far says nothing about the next step.

Name the stopping step before you press start. Take that many steps. Press withdraw. Do it on a round that is going well, when stopping feels like leaving something behind, because a habit built on good rounds holds up better on a bad night.

If you cannot name a stopping point, your stake is too big. Drop it until naming one feels easy.

What your first phone session looks like

Start on the demo. 100HP hosts it, it loads in a frame on this page without registration, and the loop is the one you will meet later, so you can find the controls on a fun balance.

Play a few rounds and stop each at a different step, to get a feel for how the multiplier climbs.

Then move to a live round with a small stake on Easy. Leave Autobet off until you know what you would have done by hand. Turbo shortens the animation and leaves the risk unchanged, so switch it on when the pacing bores you and leave it off when you are behind. When you are ready, open Hotline Money on your phone and take one small round.

Give the session a hard edge before it starts: a number of rounds, or a number of minutes on your phone timer. A round here is short, so there is always time for one more, and a limit set in advance is what stops that.

Checking a round after it ends

Rounds are Provably Fair. The outcome is committed before you play and checkable once it is over.

Open the fairness screen and you will find the Round ID for that round with its Salt and its Hash. You need those three values for the check.

Copy them before you close the round, then run the provider check. If the hash matches the round you played, the outcome was fixed before your first step and nothing you did altered it.

Do it on an early round whose result does not matter to you. It takes about two minutes.

Knowing when to stop

Set your limit inside the account before the first round. A limit chosen while you are calm is easier to keep.

Watch for one sign: you stop naming a stopping step and press on until a failed step ends the round. When that happens, close the app.

A run takes seconds and the game is still there tomorrow, so start one now, stop where you said you would, and put the phone down.
